Description
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus)
ANTIOXIDATION AND IMMUNITY
Double Extraction | Full Spectrum of Active Compounds | Organic Cultivation
Inonotus obliquus (Chaga)
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a parasitic fungus mainly growing on birch trees. For centuries it has held an important place in traditional healing systems, and today is valued primarily as a rich source of polysaccharides, melanin, and antioxidant enzymes. It strengthens the immune system, supports detoxification, and helps maintain the body’s oxidative balance.
Composition
- Concentration: 15,000 mg per 30 ml
- Ingredients: 25% double water–alcohol extract of Chaga spores (Inonotus obliquus) macerate
Practical Uses
- Immune support – promotes activation of macrophages and NK cells during bacterial and viral infections.
- Antioxidant action – neutralizes free radicals, supports healthy aging and DNA protection.
- Regulation of cholesterol and blood pressure – supports lipid profile and proper vascular tone.
- Liver protection – mild hepatoprotective effect useful in detoxification.
- Digestive system support – soothes inflammation of stomach and intestines, especially combined with Hericium.
- Complementary oncology therapy – betulin and melanin increase the body’s antiproliferative potential.
Other Possible Benefits
- Helps in diabetes treatment and pain relief.
- Liver protective effect (hepatoprotective).
- Supports mental functions – memory, concentration, thinking (inhibits acetylcholinesterase activity).
- Body detoxification, strong antioxidant effect.
- Supports digestion, helps treat gastritis and stomach/duodenal ulcers (especially with Coriolus and Cordyceps).
- Helps with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, eczema, psoriasis.
- Blood cleansing, support in leukemia and malaria.
- Strengthening eyes and hair.

Scientific Studies on Chaga
- Zhao F., Wang L., Liu K. et al. “Polysaccharides from Inonotus obliquus Attenuate DSS-Induced Colitis via Antioxidant and Gut-Barrier Protection.” Carbohydrate Polymers (2018)
Objective: To evaluate the effect of Chaga polysaccharides on a mouse model of colitis.
Conclusions: Extract reduced inflammatory infiltration, lowered MDA, and increased SOD activity, confirming strong antioxidant action and gut barrier protection. - Ju Y., Han S., Chen P. “Inonotus obliquus Extract Induces Apoptosis in Human Colorectal Cancer Cells Through ROS-Mediated ER Stress.” Food & Function (2020)
Objective: To investigate the pro-apoptotic mechanism of Chaga extract on colorectal cancer cell lines.
Conclusions: Extract triggered ROS-dependent ER stress and activated caspase-3 pathway, inhibiting tumor cell growth. - Kim Y.J., Park S.Y., Choi Y.H. “Randomized Controlled Trial of Chaga Mushroom on Oxidative Stress and Immune Markers in Healthy Adults.” Phytotherapy Research (2019)
Objective: 8-week RCT (n=46) assessing the impact of 2 g/day Chaga extract on oxidative and immune parameters.
Conclusions: Significant reduction of 8-OHdG (-15%) and increase in NK cell activity (+21%) without adverse effects.
Chaga is a powerful antioxidant and natural immune modulator that – in TCM terms – supports the liver, spleen, and heart, helping maintain energetic balance and healthy metabolism.
