"Phoenix" is a kuripe with a carved, more elaborate form. The body is shaped as a bird with spread wings, with the feathers, head, and tail clearly marked. It’s a figurine-style model - visually it resembles a small sculpture first, and only then a tool in the classic kuripe layout.
Material - dark Waru wood
Waru is a hard and dense wood. In the dark version it most often leans toward deep browns, sometimes with subtle, low-contrast grain. In this model, the carved feather cuts and the wing edges interact strongly with light, so the detail stays readable even when the wood itself has no strong contrasts.
Handmade work
