Nukini Tribe
Nukini tribe lives in Acre, Brazil and belongs to Pano language family. The Nukini tribe has over 750 members. Members suffer heavy losses in the history of latex industry, while a further mass of tribe members were enslaved or massacred. A huge part of their culture, including their language, was later lost or dispersed, almost all ethnic group has disappeared. However, Nukini managed to survive, mixing with other ethnic groups and tribes. They rebuilt a strong socio-economic structure that facilitates their close connection with the nature that surrounds them and falls them.
