Description
Agaricus
IMMUNITY AND CLEANSING
Dual extraction | Full spectrum of active compounds | Organic cultivation
Agaricus (Agaricus blazei / Agaricus brasiliensis / Agaricus subrufescens), known as the “Brazilian mushroom” (in Japan: Himematsutake, in China: Ji Song Rong), is a functional mushroom valued primarily for its immunomodulatory effects and support for the body’s inflammatory balance. Rich in polysaccharides (especially β-glucans) and compounds with antioxidant potential, it is often chosen during periods of lowered immunity, overall strain, and when the goal is “cleansing” understood as supporting the body’s natural regenerative processes: the gut, the liver, and the immune system. Clinical studies have reported, among other outcomes, improved NK cell activity and quality of life in patients undergoing chemotherapy, as well as benefits in symptoms and fatigue in people with ulcerative colitis (in a study using an Agaricus-based extract).
INGREDIENTS
- Concentration: 15,000 mg in 30 ml
- Ingredients: Dual hydro-alcoholic extract 25%, organic Agaricus fruiting bodies, macerate
PRACTICAL USE
- Immune support and an “immune shield” - β-glucan polysaccharides may support the natural activity of immune cells; in a clinical study in patients undergoing chemotherapy, increased NK cell activity and improvements in selected aspects of well-being were observed.
- Gut “cleansing” and inflammatory balance - “cleansing” understood as easing the digestive system and supporting the intestinal barrier: in a randomized placebo-controlled trial (21 days), an Agaricus-based extract was associated with improvements in symptoms, fatigue, and selected quality-of-life domains in people with ulcerative colitis.
- Antioxidant support and a “reset” after overload - Agaricus bioactive compounds may support cellular protection against oxidative stress, which often accompanies chronic stress, sleep deprivation, and a pro-inflammatory diet.
- Recovery and comfort during periods of weakness - in clinical observations, Agaricus has been linked with improvements in quality-of-life elements (e.g., appetite, general weakness) in people undergoing treatment, which may be important during recovery.
- Liver and “cleansing” - with caution and awareness - Agaricus is sometimes described as supporting the liver from traditional and antioxidant perspectives; however, there are also reports of severe liver injury in some people using Agaricus extracts. Therefore, individuals with liver disease, those undergoing oncology treatment, or those taking multiple products should consult a clinician and consider monitoring liver enzymes.
Other potential benefits
- May support balance of the immune response (useful during infection seasons and recurrent colds).
- May support the “gut-immune axis” (indirectly influencing well-being and regeneration).
- Sometimes discussed in the context of lipid and metabolic support (data are mixed; best treated as part of lifestyle, not a “drug”).
- May support histamine balance and allergic responses (mainly preclinical/indirect data).
- May promote better adaptation to biological stress (fatigue, training overload, sleep deficit).
- In Asian traditions, sometimes linked with “strengthening” and nourishing the body after illness.
- May support healthy aging through antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity (as support, not a promise of outcomes).
Characteristics according to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
- Temperature: neutral (“ping”)
- Taste: sweet
- Meridian affiliation: most often described as lungs, liver, kidneys (sometimes also the heart)
Expanded actions in TCM
- Strengthens “Zheng Qi” and supports immunity

Synergy of adaptogenic mushrooms - the most important duos and their effects
Chaga + Cordyceps (energy and physical endurance)
Synergy for power and performance: Pairing Chaga with Cordyceps is an ideal option for active people. Cordyceps supports energy production in mitochondria, improves oxygen capacity and circulation, which translates into better conditioning and training results. Chaga, in turn, helps reduce the feeling of fatigue, offers strong antioxidant activity, and supports faster tissue recovery.
Importantly, this duo also strengthens immunity - it provides a natural, caffeine-free boost of vitality while mobilizing the immune system. In other words, Chaga + Cordyceps offers clean energy and a solid protective barrier.
Chaga + Lion’s Mane (energy and mental clarity)
Synergy for vitality and focus: Combining Hericium (Lion’s Mane) with Chaga connects cognitive benefits with stable energy. Hericium is known for supporting memory, focus, and mood, while Chaga provides steady, clean energy and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
The result is motivation and clear thinking without the nervousness typical of caffeine. This duo is often added to “mushroom coffee” to support body and mind in a balanced way.
Chaga + Reishi (vitality and stress reduction)
Synergy for immunity and balance: Chaga - a “king” of antioxidants - supports energy and the immune system, while Reishi - a valued “queen” of adaptogens - soothes the nervous system, helps manage stress, and supports healthy sleep.
Together, they offer an energy boost without a later “crash” and help ease tension. The blend provides antioxidants and polysaccharides, supporting both cellular protection and immunity.
Chaga + Shiitake (immune synergy)
Synergy for immunity: Chaga and Shiitake complement each other by supporting white blood cell activity, strengthening the body’s natural protective barrier, and helping reduce recurring infections.
This duo delivers beta-glucans and antioxidants, creating a true “immune shield” that helps protect cells from oxidative stress and pathogens.
Chaga + Coriolus (digestive health and immunity)
Synergy for gut and immunity: Coriolus provides PSP/PSK polysaccharides with prebiotic activity, while Chaga soothes mucosal irritation and supports healing. Together they support the microbiome and strengthen immunity under the principle “healthy gut - strong body”.
Chaga + Coriolus is a versatile combination - it supports the digestive tract, reduces inflammation, and strengthens immunity thanks to a high content of antioxidants and beta-glucans.
Cordyceps + Lion’s Mane (physical and mental energy)
Synergy for body and mind performance: Cordyceps supports ATP levels, endurance, and reduced fatigue, while Hericium supports NGF activity, benefiting memory and concentration.
Cordyceps + Hericium provide long-lasting energy during exertion and sharper thinking - ideal for people who work intensely both physically and mentally.
Cordyceps + Reishi (energy and stress-related fatigue reduction)
Synergy for vitality and calm: Cordyceps supports vitality and energy, while Reishi helps maintain nervous system balance, reduces tension, and supports immunity.
This combination helps you feel energized but not overstimulated - Cordyceps adds drive, and Reishi stabilizes the stress response, supporting long-term recovery and immune protection.
Cordyceps + Shiitake (endurance and recovery)
Synergy for endurance and renewal: Cordyceps improves oxygen utilization and supports muscle recovery, while Shiitake provides beta-glucans that support exercise-related immunity and valuable amino acids for tissue rebuilding.
As a result, Cordyceps + Shiitake provide a natural energy boost before training and faster recovery after exertion - without synthetic stimulants.
Cordyceps + Coriolus (vitality and immunity)
Synergy for protection and energy: Cordyceps boosts immune response and energy levels, while Coriolus - thanks to PSP/PSK - strongly modulates the immune system. Together they help protect against infections and support regeneration.
Cordyceps + Coriolus is a duo that supports both vitality and the body’s defense line, helping you recover faster after illness or intense exertion.
Lion’s Mane + Reishi (nervous system, mood, and sleep)
Nootropic + anti-stress synergy: Hericium supports neurogenesis, memory, and focus, while Reishi reduces stress, supports relaxation, and deepens sleep.
This combination supports mental clarity while also calming the system - ideal during periods of intense intellectual work or chronic stress.
Lion’s Mane + Shiitake (brain and immunity)
Synergy for cognition and a protective barrier: Hericium provides erinacines and hericenones that support neurons, while Shiitake provides lentinan that supports immune cells. The result is combined support for brain function and the immune system.
Hericium + Shiitake is a comprehensive blend for better memory, focus, and stronger immunity.
Lion’s Mane + Coriolus (brain, immunity, and gut)
Synergy for the gut-brain axis: Hericium supports digestive mucosa and nerve growth, while Coriolus supports the microbiome and helps reduce inflammation. Together they support cognition, immunity, and gut health.
Hericium + Coriolus is a dynamic duo supporting focus, mood, and digestive health, translating into better well-being and immunity.
Reishi + Shiitake (immune support and overall health)
Immunomodulating and health synergy: Reishi supports overall balance and calm, while Shiitake, rich in B vitamins and amino acids, supports the liver and cardiovascular system.
This duo strengthens immunity, protects against oxidative stress, and promotes healthy sleep - Reishi + Shiitake supports homeostasis and longevity.
Reishi + Coriolus (immunity and anti-inflammatory effect)
Synergy for the immune system: Reishi supports immune activity and stress adaptation, while Coriolus offers prebiotic and anti-inflammatory support. Together they support a faster return to balance.
Shiitake + Coriolus (double immune “boost”)
Synergy for immunity and recovery: Lentinan from Shiitake and PSK/PSP from Coriolus activate immune cells, providing double support against viruses and bacteria.
Shiitake + Coriolus is a natural “turbo booster” for immunity - it supports recovery, improves vitality, and may contribute to longevity thanks to antioxidant richness.
Agaricus + Coriolus (immunity and gut-regenerative cleansing)
Synergy “shield + restoration”: Agaricus strengthens the body’s defense line (immunomodulation) and supports inflammatory balance, while Coriolus acts strongly in the area of the gut and microbiome (PSP/PSK), translating into better immunity and “cleansing” understood as more efficient regeneration and renewal.
This is a particularly good duo during periods when immunity drops and the body needs both strengthening and calming support for the digestive system. Agaricus + Coriolus supports immunity, gut comfort, and regenerative processes - i.e., “cleansing” that works from within, without forcing the body.
